EIS EDUCATION & GLOBAL TEFL TESOL, in collaboration with the Gerencia Regional de Educación de Arequipa (GREA), recently conducted a successful webinar titled “Technology in the Classroom,” led by TEFL/TESOL instructor Ace Garong. This informative session was part of Module 3 of the TEFL/TESOL training program aimed at enhancing English teaching practices.
Held virtually, the webinar attracted an impressive turnout, with 250 public school teachers from Arequipa, Peru, in attendance. The training focused on the integration of digital tools and innovative strategies to enhance language instruction in the 21st-century classroom.
It was shared in the webinar some practical approaches to using technology effectively, emphasizing tools that promote engagement, collaboration, and digital literacy among students. Teachers participated actively, reflecting the growing interest and commitment to modernizing teaching methods across the region.
This initiative, spearheaded by GREA, is part of an ongoing effort to equip educators with global teaching standards and methodologies, ensuring improved learning outcomes for students in public schools.
